Shell-and-tube heat exchangers with U-shaped pipes, different arrangements, and also tube bundles to them are intended for heat exchange of liquid and gaseous media in the technological processes of oil refining, petrochemical, chemical, oil, gas and other industries. The apparatus uses smooth heat exchange tubes. In technically justified cases, the use of diaphragm heat exchanger tubes with annular grooves is permitted.
